valentine cards

love is the air.......just not for me boooooooooooooooooo!!!! maybe this will be my year, made these cards with felted wool jumper scraps and buttons , the brown and pink one is one of the fimo buttons i made a few week ago.

to add to my bags i made a variety of buttons from fimo, its very easy i rolled out the fimo , added decoration eg a strip of brown across the pink then rolled over again to bond the two colours then cut out with a cookie cutter, i then made the holes with a blunt pencil , the surface pattern was created using bubble wrap, they are then placed in the oven gas mark 130 for 20 mins, once cooled i gave them a coat of varnish.

well my jumper pile has taken over..but i cant stop myself buying more and more!! i really need to get cracking now and make some bags and blankets etc, i need to get some on etsy to make myself some money and the rest for uni. i love the sight of all the different fabrics piled up, it not only looks very appealing but every time i look at it i think of all the many items i could make ( and should be making)
